What we've achieved
Success stories by the numbers
Asylplus receives the “Integration Award 2016” of Upper Bavaria in the category “Education”.
Asylplus is all about people – those that are seeking refuge and those that want to help refugees create perspectives.
To date (December 2016), Asylplus has set up 100 learning centres. More than 1500 computers are in use there.
148 out of the 300 participants in the first six computer centres have already achieved a measurable level of success, ranging from language certificate A1 for basic knowledge of German, to B1 level, which is necessary to be listed by the job agency. Several asylum seekers have already found a place in the German school system or the job market with the help of Asylplus.
In addition, there are 200 cooperation agreements with independent user groups all over Germany.
*Numbers for computer centres in Bad Tölz region, Munich region and city. Since the Asylplus learning platform is also accessed by user groups across Germany, the actual nationwide figures are considerably higher. We are working on collecting these numbers to reflect them in our statistics.
